Collection: Extraction

It seems that everybody is moving to extracts as their favoured method of enjoying their legal smoking blends. Concentrates offer you more bang for your buck, giving you an isolated form of the terpenes and polyphenols found in the plant matter.

When you vaporize your legal extracts, you get the best of the herbal blend without any additional organic material. However, the issue with concentrates is that it's an unregulated market. That means that the standard of purity could vary between manufacturers.

Extraction FAQ

BHO Oil Extractors

Our range of BHO equipment makes it easy to complete successful butane extraction right at home. This process involves the use of hydrocarbons to strip the terpenes and polyphenols from the organic material.

BHO is starting to wane in popularity due to the introduction of "Rosin-based" equipment. The issue with using hydrocarbon-based extraction like BHO is that the hydrocarbons require a "gassing off" process to remove all traces of the hydrocarbon before it’s suitable for consumption.

Rosin extraction systems remove the risk of hydrocarbons remaining behind in your extraction.

Rosin Extraction

Rosin extraction is gaining in popularity. This method heats the organic herb material at high temperatures between two plates, applying massive pressure to your plant material.

The "rosin extract leaks through the rosin bag and onto parchment, where it's ready for collection.

Typically, you wrap the organics up in a "Rosin bag" and press it between the heating plates.

The rosin bags come in a range of different microns which essentially explains the hole sizes in the mesh, allowing you to create custom extract qualities similar to what you get with traditional ice bubble hash bags.
